Boxing in Rome has its unwritten rules, it is a horizontal world in some ways similar to football curves. Boxing is practiced in popular gyms in the suburbs as well as in the neighborhoods of the rich bourgeoisie and, although it is no longer a sport that gets big news in the newspapers, it continues to have a large hard core of enthusiasts.
