What happen to immigrant people since their arrival in Italy?
Too often their hopes to be safe are betrayed, they spend months, sometimes years, before the commission for asylum seekers examines their case. They have no identity papers, cannot work and cannot send money to their families so they accumulate a lot of frustration. The moment these people leave their country they thought about improving their condition and instead they often find themselves in miserable conditions here. They spend their days in government shelters sleeping too much, can't do anything else. Sometimes they find an internship but it's almost never something really serious.
